EAG International 2022 Experiencing A Surge In Exhibitor Bookings

London 26th October 2021 | Organisers of bacta’s Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming International Expo (EAG) have reported a surge in stand bookings for the 2022 event, taking place on 11th-13th January at ExCeL London.

With floor space filling quickly, Organiser Karen Cooke is urging those wishing to secure space to act promptly: “With this year’s EAG International being an online-only event, there seems to be a strong appetite for what will be the first face to face event for two years. Our industry is a resilient one and several exhibitors have told us that although trading conditions have been tough, the past two years has been spent productively, with new launches planned for the January show. Visitor interest is also high, so the indications are that EAG International 2022 is shaping-up to be a landmark event. We’re thrilled at the prospect of welcoming everybody back and to avoid disappointment, I would ask any companies considering exhibiting to get in touch without delay,” advised Karen.

The expo floor is set to follow the traditional EAG pattern of a mix of both large international brands and smaller manufacturers and service providers. Despite overseas travel still proving a little more complicated, international companies will be well represented.

Whitehouse Leisure International has long been a strong supporter of EAG, with Managing Director Phil Setter revealing that the company will occupy its customary three stands to showcase ground-breaking ranges of licensed and generic plush and prize merchandise: “I think most people will agree, nobody anticipated such a huge level of demand from consumers this year and we sold out early on many of our key lines.

“At Whitehouse Leisure International we have been busy all year developing our new collection and as you’d expect, we have an exciting stable of new and innovative products to present for 2022. We look forward to welcoming back all our customers who attend the EAG and hopefully this marks the beginning of life and business returning to normal,” anticipated Phil.

Paulo Sidoli of Porthcawl based SB machines is also expecting a productive show. SB Machines supplies high quality Italian children’s rides to the UK and Ireland and will be taking the opportunity to launch their latest ride, Wave Patrol. Paulo Sidoli explained: “This two-seat mini wheel ride has generated a lot of interest among operators. Alongside Wave Patrol, the well-established Kangaroo Carousel will be on display. These rides are among the first of the next generation of rides that can command £2 per play,” confirmed Paulo.

In recent years, EAG International has embraced many new technologies, becoming the show of choice for developers of immersive out-of-home entertainment. This trend towards cutting edge technologies looks set to continue, with strong bookings from developers of cashless and contactless payment systems, in addition to performance-enhancing software for every conceivable leisure operation.

For many, EAG’s attraction is the opportunity to meet up with like-minded professionals, to renew acquaintanceships and to catch-up with old friends at the numerous events staged during the show.

EAG International’s timing, right at the start of the New Year, is perfect for buyers and key influencers keen to invest for the coming season. With so much on offer at EAG 2022, exhibitors are sure to benefit from significant pent-up demand.
